Crown Ladies Night Out

We plan, but we don't over plan. We intend and we follow through on our good intentions (mostly).

We planned to go to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple.
We planned it for Friday the 25th.

No one made reservations.

After a few phone calls between sisters, sisters-in-law, friends, whatever...

...a text was sent out that we would attend the Jordan River Temple.

Three of us left the park and ride as scheduled. We arrived at the Temple a little earlier than anticipated (the traffic flowed in our favor). We waited.

And waited.

And one stepped outside to make a call. Returned to us and we waited some more.

Finally two arrived-stuck in traffic.

Then the five of us changed our clothes. Three of us 'beat the rush' and waited in the chapel.

And waited.

And one stepped outside and downstairs and back to the locker room and found the other two waiting in line. She returned and we waited.

The session was about to begin, the company left, and we waited. Finally just as we thought we would wait no more the two came in! Good, let's hurry!

Nope. Number six is in line downstairs waiting. So we sat. And waited!

Number six had gone to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple and just as she was leaving her car read her text and dashed (stuck in traffic) to the Jordan River Temple.

It's always better to be together than to not. Some of the sisters had been waiting since 1863, 1800, 1870s. Waiting is okay.

We missed sister number seven. So while we were waiting for the waiter we texted her to let her know we missed her!
